anyway, i've been to several restos that serve buffet, but only four have topped my list.
Cabalen - if you love pinoy food, then visit this place. for only PhP 392 (drinks not included), you will have access to all the dishes served. their krispy kangkong and the kare-kare are the best-sellers (well, at least for me). i also find their tapang kalabaw good. it gives me a weird feeling, though, coz it's kalabaw and not the usual beef tapa.. all other dishes are ok, too. for the dessert, there's not much to select except for the DIY halo-halo, some native kakanin, and choco fountain, which i think uses local chocolate that hardens after a few minutes. not the typical choco-fondue.
Dads/Saisaki - this has more choices - from pinoy to italian to american to japanese. my favorite part is the japanese food. whenever i crave for jap, i always wanted to come here for a variety of selections. access to all three areas, i.e. blue plate- saisaki/kamayan/dads would cost almost PhP 500 (excluding drinks). but if you wish to only eat at saisaki, that would be cheaper. i also love the dessert portion of Dads - they offer different cakes/pastries, ice cream, fruits, etc... if you plan to eat here, i would suggest you call them first for reservations.
Sonya's Garden (Tagaytay City) - healthier way of eating in a buffet-style. For only PhP 600++, you will be able to eat salad, organic pasta, bread and lemonade. not bad at all.
Circles Cafe (Makati Shangri-La Hotel)
